PIZZA-USDE Monthly Report (May)

May is one of the most remarkable and productive month for PIZZA-USDE stablecoin project.

May 1, PIZZA finished the beta testing and launched on EOS mainnet. It continues the basic functionalities from the beta version, such as collateralization and stablecoin issuance, auto liquidation, collateralization reward, etc.

In the current version, the liquidator in a typical auto-liquidation is expected to buy liquidated collateral with a roughly 3% discount. A more dynamic auction system is under development and will be introduced in a not distant future. A system account is currently the only liquidator in the system, the specific smart contract addresses and operations could be found on pizza.live homepage, under system verification. The transparency verification setup is an important move for future open source and decentralization arrangements.

The collateralization reward mechanism has been successfully running and distributing PIZZA tokens to CDP holders. The design attracted significant community attentions and received great feedback from users. By the end of the month, the collateral pool has surpassed 150,000 EOS and still accumulating momentum: the marketing and user-educating purposes are both satisfied during the past month. According to a sample survey, from scale 1–10, the average user satisfaction level about the current collateralization reward is more than 8.7.

May 20, the project successfully integrated in morecoin.com, a Singapore based lending platform, to provide peer-to-peer USDE/CNY trading pair to users in greater China region.

In the end of May, the development team has completed the pre-setup for the airdrop. The system is going to perform a snapshot on June 1 and perform the airdrop on June 8 as scheduled. The team also evaluated the solutions for airdropping to REX users, PIZZA token is expected to be one of the first token airdropped to REX users.

Platform including Huobi, BigOne, Chaince, Whaleex, iBank, Morecoin and more others will be supporting the airdrop.
